but probably if the girl starts going out with a possessive homo-phobic straight guy he might keep her away from her gay friends and bribe her with diamonds
And do you think those diamonds can make her smile and laugh and be herself or even keep her occupied or etc? If the person really loves her, he'll accept her friends as well. It's sort of part of the package
